How we rank courses and lecturers

Results are ordered by quality and relevance. Organizers cannot pay to change their ratings or their place among the ordinary results.

Best match is decided by

• Ratings from participants' anonymous evaluations (1–4) of the organizer and of the course's lecturers. Few answers count less: every rating is weighed against 3 until there are about 10 answers.
• How soon the course starts.
• Whether there are seats left.
• The distance, when you search near a place or your position. Webinars are online and count as near everywhere.
• Partners (organizers with a partner package) and organizers that give the national dental association's members at least 10 % come a little higher. Both are marked on the course.

Sponsored places

Organizers and lecturers can pay for visibility. Paid results are always marked Sponsored, there are at most 2 per page, they take turns, and they only appear when they match your search. Payment never affects ratings.

Your filters

Profession, discipline, level, type, country and distance only show what you chose; they do not change the order. When you are signed in, courses for your own profession are shown first; choose All professions to see everything.

Lecturers

In the lecturer directory for organizers, lecturers are ordered by their participants' ratings, weighed the same way, then by how many courses they have given on Mesial.
